The effect of tranexamic acid on wound complications in primary total Hip Arthroplasty: A meta-analysis
ConclusionTXA reduced blood loss and transfusion rates after primary THA surgery. It also reduced wound complication rates but the clinical significance of this needs further investigation through well designed and adequately powered RCTs.
