Mismatch Repair System Deficiency is associated with response to neoadjuvant chemoradiation in locally advanced rectal cancer

This retrospective study evaluates downstaging after neoadjuvant chemoradiation in dMMR patients with locally advanced rectal cancer after inverse probability of treatment weighting. dMMR patients had higher downstaging rates and longer recurrence free survival.
