Editorial Commentary: Don't Worry About It —Hip Arthroscopy Is Safe From Venous Thromboembolism…Mostly Yes!

Data from a large national database report venous thromboembolism rates of 0.77% and 1.14% after hip arthroscopy at 30 and 90  days, respectively. Although this is very encouraging, risk stratification based on individual factors must be applied to determine in which patients it is best to administer venous thromboembolism prophylaxis after hip arthroscopy.
