P & G probiotic supplements reportedly counterfeited, sold by Amazon

Some counterfeit Procter& Gamble Co. nutritional probiotic supplements apparently were sold by Amazon, and the web retailer ’s customers reportedly were advised to stop using the pills and throw them away. The Cincinnati-based maker of consumer goods (NYSE: PG) apparently was made aware that some counterfeit Align probiotic supplements were sold on Amazon via third parties, and Amazon confirmed it had stopped third-pa rty sales of those Align products. Amazon is now selling only Align products…
