Conclusion: Ureteroscopy, rigid or flexible, is already well established in the country, requiring the direction of more resources for its practice, especially in less developed regions. Regarding PCNL a significant part of Brazilian urologists still lack practical experience in this procedure, emphasizing the need for greater investment in teaching this technique.
Conclusions: Laparoscopic pielolitotomy is an excellent treatment alternative for patients with large stones in pelvic kidney.

Indwelling ureteral stents are commonly used in pediatric surgeries for kidney stones and urinary tract obstruction, but often require instrumentation or anesthesia for removal. We evaluated the use of novel magnet devices to remove indwelling ureteral stents with a distally attached magnetic bead. Since the forces required for stent removal are unknown, we aimed to characterize and quantify the forces required for stent removal for future prototype testing.
Conclusions: We have reported three new cases with pathogenic variants in PEX6 presenting with milder forms of the Zellweger spectrum disorders (ZSD). The three cases showed distinct clinical features. Thus, expanding the phenotypic spectrum of PBDs and ascertaining exome sequencing is an effective strategy for an accurate diagnosis of clinically overlapping and genetically heterogeneous disorders such as deafness-blindness association. Conclusion: This study has a total complication rate of 16%, approximately 10% of those are severe. The most common complication to PCNL was infection (60%), followed by bleeding (5.4%), reoperation (1.6%) and pain (0.5%). The high prevalence of E. faecalis might need to be considered, however the results should be validated in a larger cohort, possibly with a higher rate of antibiotic resistance, before a change of guidelines regarding prophylactic antibiotics could be proposed. ConclusionThe immune microenvironment is an important factor influencing the relapse of PC. The intratumoural density of CD3+, CD8+, CD45+, and CD163+ immunocytes was correlated with disease-free survival (DFS) in patients with PC. Immunotherapy based on T lymphocytes or tumour-associated macrophages may be a promising treatment strategy.
