Updates in Pediatric Otolaryngology

Pediatric Otolaryngology as a field has gone through incredible advancement over the past 40 years since its inception as a discipline of medicine. This Otolaryngologic Clinics of North America issue reviews these various developments. In otology, the authors present innovations in the use of otoendoscopes and in the evaluation of sensorineural hearing loss. In rhinology, new technology, such as balloon dilation, and transnasal approaches to the skull base are discussed. Contemporary management with multidisciplinary care of complex aerodigestive disorders, craniofacial disorders, and thyroid disorders is presented.
