Infectious hepatitis in pregnancy is clinically significant in both the acute and chronic phases. Here, we review the perinatal implications of chronic hepatitis B and C and acute hepatitis A and E. Familiarity with screening, transmission, diagnosis, and management of infectious hepatitis is of ongoing importance during obstetric care, as these diseases are endemic in much of the world. Pregnancy and interpregnancy care provide opportunities to prevent infection and transmission of hepatitis.

ConclusionsThis retrospective study showed that TARE therapy resulted in minimal toxicity in patients with HBV-derived HCC. Patients with CP A or BCLC A disease had superior survival outcomes compared to patients with CP B and BCLC B/C disease. These findings suggest that TARE is a viable treatment option for certain patient groups with HCC tumors secondary to HBV infection.
Conclusion: A diagnostic model combining simple clinical metrics with AFP is valuable for the identification of cirrhotic patients complicating HCC with various AFP levels.

Abstract A novel highly oxygenated norbisabolane sesquiterpene, namely phyllanthacidoid U (1), along with nine known sesquiterpenes (2-10) was isolated from the roots and stems of Phyllanthus acidus (L.) Skeels (Phyllanthaceae), collected from Xishuangbanna, Yunnan province, China. Their structures were elucidated by means of extensive spectroscopic analysis and by comparison of their data with reported values in literatures. Instead of the C-13 ester O-glycosyl found mostly in the titled plant growing in Thailand, compound 1 possessed a rare N-β-glucosamine-2-N-acetate moiety linked directly to the carbonyl ...
