ACC: HPS2-THRIVE May Signal the End for Niacin (CME/CE)

SAN FRANCISCO (MedPage Today) -- Results from a landmark study of specially formulated niacin in more than 25,000 high-risk patients appears to have extinguished any clinical role for niacin to reduce the risk of cardiovascular events in these patients, researchers said here.
