A Graphical Exploration of Oral Health-Related Quality of Life: Resident vs Caregiver Perceptions

Limitations in physical functioning, mental health, and/or cognitive functioning are the primary reasons why older adults need help.1 In a care setting, caregivers not only support residents with daily activities but also assess the health status of the residents. Because oral health has a strong impact on general health and quality of life,2 a correct perception of the residents' oral health status by the caregivers is important.
