Atomic bomb and clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats gene editing technology

We read the article entitled “CRISPR-Mediated Gene Editing for the Surgeon Scientist” with great interest. The authors stated that “gene editing through the CRISPR-Cas9 editing system presents many new opportunities for the surgeon scientist.”1 We do not agree with the authors.
