MingattoAbstractImidacloprid (IMD) is a neonicotinoid insecticide widely used in crops, pets, and on farm animals for pest control, which can cause hepatotoxicity in animals and humans. In a previous study using isolated rat liver mitochondria, we observed that IMD inhibited the activity of FoF1-ATP synthase....

ConclusionHistogram DCE-MRI demonstrates good diagnostic performance in identifying different molecular types and for the prognostic assessment of glioma.
In a clinical trial of patients vaccinated after chemotherapy-induced remission with patient-derived AML cells fused with autologous dendritic cells (DC/AML fusions) we demonstrated durable AML-specific immunity. 71% of patients sustained long-term remission from AML at 55-91 months (responders) while those who experienced relapse had recurrence at 2-26 months (non-responders).
Although children, adolescents and young adult patients with ALL have in general a good prognosis relapses occur and patients with a second relapse, a relapse after allogeneic SCT or patients with primary refractory disease have a poor prognosis. In this patient group several studies using second generation CD19 chimeric antigen receptor T- cells (CAR-T cells) demonstrated high efficacy with survival rates of up to 65%. Here we report our first results using commercially available CAR-T-cell product Tisagenlecleucel in patients with ALL.
Major Depression — the clinical type — is not a normal part of aging. Though it can appear at any age, older adults are at an increased risk. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) distinguishes this condition from having “the blues” and likens it to other medical illnesses that are treatable, like diabetes or hypertension. Overwhelming sadness and anxiety can last for weeks at a time or much longer, with a wide range of other discouraging symptoms. Yet, there are things that can help. Statistics tell us that later in life, at least one chronic disease will affect 80 percent of u...
CONCLUSIONS MCDA twin pregnancies with birthweight discordance presented utero-placental perfusion deterioration assessed by 3DPD prior to sGR diagnosis. Co-twin utero-placental perfusion discordance was significantly correlated with growth discordance, and this correlation was more predictive of sGR when 3DPD was combined with conventional Doppler imaging.
