Prognostic value of average real variability of systolic blood pressure in elderly treated hypertensive patients

Conclusions: In elderly treated hypertensive patients, high average real variability of 24-hour systolic blood pressure is associated with higher cardiovascular risk independently of other risk markers, average 24-hour systolic blood pressure and circadian blood pressure changes.
