Sequestration Will Hurt Mesothelioma Research, Drug Development
The federal government spends $5 billion a year on cancer research, but that figure will drop if sequestration cuts are enacted at the end of February, health care experts say. The already low contribution for mesothelioma research would shrink further as well.
