Total anomalous pulmonary venous connection with dual drainage: A rare configuration

A 7-year-old child with central cyanosis and failure to thrive underwent transthoracic echocardiography. The openings of the pulmonary veins into the left atrium (LA) could not be demonstrated suggesting a possible diagnosis of total anomalous pulmonary venous connection (TAPVC). The coronary sinus was also dilated indicating a cardiac or mixed variant of TAPVC. A cardiac computed tomography angiography (CTA) was advised to delineate the pulmonary venous anatomy.
