Associations of Neprilysin Activity in CSF with Biomarkers for Alzheimer's Disease.

CONCLUSIONS: Our results on CSF-NEP are compatible with the assumption that local degradation, amongst other mechanisms of amyloid clearance, plays a role in the development of Alzheimer's pathology.
