Treat-to-Target Strategies in Rheumatoid Arthritis —Reply

In Reply Dr van der Helm-van Mil and colleagues propose that the results of the IMAGINE-RA trial could have been more favorable to the MRI treat-to-target strategy if the MRI target had been chosen differently; eg, by incorporating tenosynovitis or synovitis or by choosing a different bone marrow edema cut-off level. We agree and acknowledged this in the article, stating “the 2-group study design did not allow investigators to test other potential MRI treatment targets.”
