We have recently read with interest the original article published by Inoue et al1 entitled “Lectin-Like Oxidized Low-Density Lipoprotein Receptor-1 Levels as a Biomarker of Acute Intracerebral Hemorrhage.” The authors described the potential use of Lectin-like oxidized Low-Density Lipoprotein Recepor-1 (LOX-1) serum level as a biomarker for intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH).
