Blood pressure lowering medication initiation and fracture risk: a SWAN pharmacoepidemiology study

ConclusionsThere was evidence of an increased risk in fractures among women initiating blood pressure –lowering medications compared to those initiating antidepressants. This is likely related to an increased risk of falling.
