Publication date: Available online 17 August 2019Source: Biocatalysis and Agricultural BiotechnologyAuthor(s): Komal Agrawal, Pradeep VermaAbstractThe dye industries have exploded tremendously since industrialization, as the consumption increases pressure upon the industries to meet the demands. Thereby leading to release of toxic chemicals and effluents in the surrounding environment. Alizarin Cyanine Green (ACG) a toxic dye has its utility in various industries and after utilization remaining dye and intermediates are released as effluent. The treatment of ACG using photocatalytic mechanism has been studied however studi...

This methodology involves the carbonyl ylide intermediates... The content of this RSS Feed (c) The Royal Society of Chemistry
CONCLUSION: ATV inhibited ROS generation and activated IL-1 β/IL-6 secretion in PBMNC of diabetes patients. Its effect was not affected by the hyperglymemia. PMID: 31416412 [PubMed - as supplied by publisher]
Conclusion Dexamethasone appears to be a promising agent in reduction of post-operative sequelae in third molar surgery. As a potent anti-inflammatory agent it has an effective role in pain, trismus and edema reduction distinguish from the routes of administration, dosage and timing, pre or post-operative prescription. Methods to Quantify the NF-κB Pathway During Senescence. Methods Mol Biol. 2019;1896:231-250 Authors: Zhang L, Zhao J, Gurkar A, Niedernhofer LJ, Robbins PD Abstract Nuclear factor κB (NF-κB) is a family of transcription factors important for regulating innate and adaptive immunity, cellular proliferation, apoptosis and senescence. The NF-κB family is comprised of five subunits, RelA/p65, RelB, C-Rel, p50 (p105/NF-κB1), and p52 (p100/NF-κB2). NF-κB activity goes up with age in multiple tissues. The two subunits RelA/p65 and p50 have been implicated in senescen...

In this study, site-specific release retardant mini-matrix tablets (SSRRMT) were developed and functionally coated with pH-responsive materials to achieve a site-specific delivery of DT at the duodenojejunal (DSRRMT) and ileocecal (ISRRMT) regions. Stomach-specific coated mini-tablets (SSCMT) were manufactured for immediate release of about 16% of the daily dose of DT in the stomach. The SSCMT, DSRRMT and ISRRMT were combined into a solid dosage form (C-SSRRMT tablets or capsules) to achieve the required linear release profile for once daily administration of DT. The SSRRMT and C-SSRRMT formulations were evaluated for the ...
Halogenated boroxine dipotassium trioxohydroxytetrafluorotriborate K2[B3O3F4OH] inhibits emerging multidrug-resistant and β-lactamase-producing opportunistic pathogens. Drug Dev Ind Pharm. 2019 Aug 16;:1-21 Authors: Maravić A, Rončević T, Krce L, Ilić N, Galić B, Čikeš Čulić V, Carev I Abstract Halogenated boroxine dipotassium trioxohydroxytetrafluorotriborate, K2[B3O3F4OH] (boroxine) was previously shown to be very effective in inhibition of several carcinoma cell lines, including the skin cancer. Here, we investigated its antimicrobial potential by targeting the multidrug-resistan...
