In Reply Dr Lambert and colleagues concur with my Viewpoint that data generated from wearable devices need to be further interpreted by experienced clinicians to adjudicate accurate results and avoid inappropriate diagnoses. With continually improving technology and design, these devices are capable of providing patients and clinicians with important information regarding arrhythmias. However, understanding the limitations of these devices is essential to avoid overreliance and to judiciously incorporate them into clinical practice.
