Conclusion: UPSFS with TLIF is a viable treatment option that provides satisfactory clinical results; the clinical outcome and the complication rate were comparable to BPS. In addition, the invasive of UPSFS cases was comparable to UPS and better than BPS cases. For UPS, it could be used in suitable patients.
Conclusions: The M6 new-generation cervical disk prosthesis had few complications. No heterotopic ossiication was observed in any patient, and lexion-extension ROM was maintained in all the patients, indicating the M6 prosthesis as a promising alternative. ConclusionWhile only the DASH work score strongly correlated with radiographic grade of first CMC OA, several measures detected considerable differences in functional hand use between patients and control subjects. The findings of this pilot study suggest that hand function scores be considered in addition to radiographs when determining severity of first CMC OA. The findings can also inform the design of a larger, powered study.
