One-stage technique for treatment of ankylosis of the temporomandibular joint, secondary micrognathia, and a prominent mandibular angle

Ankylosis of the temporomandibular joint (TMJ) may result in substantial growth disorders and facial deformities,1 which can be addressed with various surgical techniques.2,3 We have developed a new technique to correct these deformities in patients with ankylosis of the TMJ, secondary micrognathia, and a prominent mandibular angle.
