When is it adviseable to pick a DO over MD acceptance?

The MD school I was accepted to off the waitlist—I have no idea how, but my MCAT sucks (505). At the interview, the students are at a much higher professional and intellectual level than I am and I felt intimidated by the student body. They have team based learning which I absolutely despise but they also grade you based on your participation in group conversations too (I’m a slow thinker and very shy and intimidated by the students—this isn’t going to go well). Also classes are mandatory... When is it adviseable to pick a DO over MD acceptance?
