Toxic Leukoencephalopathy Presenting as Lethal Catatonia
Discussion:
Catatonia can develop in multiple psychiatric and somatic diseases, including toxic leukoencephalopathy. A biphasic course and specific MRI findings are characteristics for delayed toxic leukoencephalopathy, due to intoxication with drugs.
