Sa1470 RISK ESTIMATION, MACHINE LEARNING BASED ERCP DECISION-MAKING TOOL FOR SUSPECTED CHOLEDOCHOLITHIASIS
Gallstone disease affects more than 20 million Americans annually and up to 18 % undergoing cholecystectomy for gallstones have concomitant common bile duct stone(s) (BDS). Prior studies have demonstrated that existing societal risk stratification guidelines to predict the presence of BDS lack accuracy, leading to overutilization of ERCP. Improved stratification allows appropriate patient selection for ERCP and vis-a-vis lower risk modalities such as EUS, MRCP.
