Sa2059 VARIATION IN USE OF INHALATIONAL ANESTHETICS DURING PROPOFOL SEDATION BY ANESTHESIOLOGISTS FOR PEDIATRIC ENDOSCOPY
Little is known about best practices for combining specific inhalational anesthetics with propofol sedation for pediatric endoscopy. In particular, reports have described use of sevoflurane and nitrous oxide (N2O) -- in combination or individually – although other inhalational agents, as well as total intravenous anesthesia (TIVA), have also been suggested as reasonable approaches for the same procedures.
