Su1409 NOVEL CRITERIA TO IDENTIFY HIGH RISK POLYPS ASSOCIATED WITH GASTRIC ADENOCARCINOMA IN FAMILIAL ADENOMATOUS POLYPOSIS
Gastric cancer has recently been shown to be an extra-colonic manifestation of familial adenomatous polyposis (FAP). Pathology associated with gastric cancer include pyloric gland adenomas and tubular adenomas. There are no known endoscopic criteria to identify these “high risk” lesions. The aim of this study was to identify polyp characteristics and develop criteria to identify high risk lesions on endoscopy in FAP.
