Initial evaluation of the PSMA-targeted PET agent 68GaGa-P16-093, and comparison with 68GaGa-PSMA-11, in prostate cancer patients presenting with biochemical recurrence.

Conclusions: In this initial assessment, the [68Ga]Ga-P16-093 radiopharmaceutical appears at least equivalent to [68Ga]Ga-PSMA-11 for PET detection of the site of prostate cancer recurrence.

558Objectives: 18F- fluciclovine (fluciclovine) is a synthetic amino acid PET radiotracer that is transported via amino acid transporters, including LAT1 which has been shown to be upregulated in endometrial, cervical and ovarian cancer cells. Compared to FDG, fluciclovine has low urinary bladder excretion allowing better target to background ratios for viewing pelvic structures. Fluciclovine is currently FDA approved for imaging PSA recurrent prostate cancer. The utility of fluciclovine in PET/CT imaging of gynecological (GYN) cancers is yet to be explored. The aim of this study is to evaluate the uptake characteristics o...

This study aims to prove the concept to employ artificial intelligence to predict the post-therapy dosimetry. Methods: A cohort of 43 patients with advanced metastatic prostate cancer were scanned with 68Ga-PSMA-11 PET/CT and then treated with 177Lu-PSMA I&T. After the treatment, the patients underwent 3-5 planar whole-body scans for purpose of dosimetry. For proof-of-concept, we focus on organ-based prediction in this study. The mean SUV uptake of lung, kidney, brain, spleen, liver, heart, muscle, bladder and whole body were obtained from pretherapy PET/CT scans. Blood test values (PSA, Albumin etc) were also included as ...

Conclusions: In patients with prostate cancer, there were no significant differences found in primary prostate gland and metastatic lesions at two time points. Accumulation of the tracer in the urinary bladder is less prominent at 120 min compared to 60 min improving signal to noise ratio with less background observed in delayed images. Thus, enhancing the interpretation confidence.

1557Objectives: Prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) ligands such as 68Ga-PSMA have an established use in positron emission tomography (PET)/computed tomography (CT) imaging of patients with prostate cancer. However, the use of 18F-labeled PSMA ligands is increasing owing to their longer half-life, ease of larger batch production and lower positron range compared with 68Ga-labelled counterparts. Radiohybrid PSMA (rhPSMA) ligands are a new class of theranostic PSMA-targeting agents featuring fast 18F synthesis with utility for labelling with radiometals. Here, we evaluate the biodistribution and image quality obtained ...

Conclusions: Higher bone metastasis volume and higher total fluoride skeletal metastatic lesion uptake at the baseline F-18 NaF PET/CT demonstrated worse survival in urological malignancy patients with bone metastases treated. F-18 NaF PET/CT can be used for prediction of overall survival in urological malignancy patients with bone metastases.

Conclusions: Automated deep learning-based measurements of 18F-choline uptake in the prostate gland were significantly associated with prostate cancer specific survival in patients with hormone-naive prostate cancer. This type of deep learning-based methods could be applied to other prostate cancer PET tracers as well, for example PSMA. 8Purpose: To study the biodistribution, human organ absorbed dosimetry and tumor detecting efficiency of Al18F probe, Al18F-PSMA-BCH, in newly diagnosed prostate cancer patients. Methods: Al18F-PSMA-BCH was prepared and performed for quality control. Between December 2017 and February 2018, 9 newly diagnosed patients with prostate cancer (Age 59.8±11.2, range 36-72; PSA 25.9±20.3, range 10-70.38; Gleason Score 7.2±1.2, range 6-9) were intravenously injected with Al18F-PSMA-BCH (2.3-3.2 MBq/kg) and 11C-choline (4.1-5.5 GBq/kg) for PET/CT imaging. Imaging was performed on a Gemini TF scanner (Philips Med...

Conclusions Several model systems are now available to characterize the MSC-tumour interplay in the TME. These offer early promise in establishing robust preclinical platforms for the identification of crucial molecular pathways and for the assessment of clinical efficacy of novel drugs to inhibit cancer development and progression. However, selection of the right model for a given study should be shaped on the purpose, and should also consider fixed biological, biochemical, and biophysical parameters according to the specific tumour type. Finally, in order to get reliable and useful results to be translated to the clinic...

Abstract External beam radiation therapy for prostate cancer can result in urinary, sexual, and rectal side effects, often impairing quality of life. A polyethylene glycol-based product, SpaceOAR© hydrogel (SOH), implanted into the connective tissue between the prostate gland and rectum can significantly reduce the dose received by the rectum and hence risk of rectal toxicity. The optimal way to manage the hydrogel and rectal structures for plan optimization is therefore of interest. In 13 patients, computerized tomography (CT) scans were taken pre- and post-SpaceOAR© implant. A prescription of 60 G...

Authors: Pianou NK, Stavrou PZ, Vlontzou E, Rondogianni P, Exarhos DN, Datseris IE Abstract Prostate cancer (PCa) is the most common solid cancer affecting men worldwide. Serum prostate-specific antigen (PSA) is at present the most commonly used biomarker for PCa screening, as well as a reliable marker of disease recurrence after initial treatment. Bone metastases (BM) are present in advanced stages of the disease. Imaging of BM is important not only for localization and characterization, but also to evaluate their size and number, as well as to follow-up the disease during and after therapy. Bone metastases format...
