Hi everyone, I'm currently active duty and working on a plan to go to medical school after I get out. My ETS is May 2023. As of now, I'm not sure if I will stay in or not; if I do, I'd be in for another 4 years doing a software development program. I only recently learned about VR&E and I'm not sure if I will even qualify but I hope so. I don't know what my disability rating will be. I have a bad knee, sleep problems, and possible mild PTSD from a sexual assault on deployment but it's not... Read more

Although hemodialysis treatment is one of the main treatment methods in chronic kidney failure, it also causes many health problems. A variety of complementary and integrative therapies are used to relieve or minimize hemodialysis symptoms. Fatigue (60%-97%) is also one of these problems. Therefore, we have conducted a systematic review to determine the effect of complementary and integrative therapies on fatigue in hemodialysis patients. Relevant studies published from 2005 to 2019, in PubMed, EBSCOhost, ScienceDirect, and Cochran Library databases have been reviewed. In the study, initially, 21 039 pieces of data were ob...

This study was conducted using a single-subject design. Participants were three boys diagnosed with HFA disorder, selected using purposive sampling. The social skills improvement system scale and the sexual knowledge questionnaire were used to measure SS and SK. The training program consisted of 49 sessions. Results showed that, given the comparison of scores before and after the intervention, the training program was effective in improving SS and SK. With regard to the importance of puberty, training programs for parents and adolescents play an effective role in increasing SS and SK of adolescents with HFA disorder.

Research of the past decade makes it clear that it is plausible and possible to alter the aged gut microbiome in ways that will reduce chronic inflammation and improve long-term health. This goal has been achieved in animal models via a range of different means, including flagellin immunization and fecal microbiota transplantation. In short-lived species, healthy life spans can be extended by restoring a more youthful gut microbiome, and in our own species, the detrimental changes that take place in gut microbiome populations are increasingly well catalogued. The next step has yet to be taken in earnest, however: to roll o...
