Transition to oral versus continued intravenous antibiotics for patients with pyogenic liver abscesses: a retrospective analysis
ConclusionTransition to PO antibiotics, which consisted mostly of fluoroquinolones, for patients with pyogenic liver abscesses was associated with a higher rate of 30 ‐day readmission compared to patients treated with IV antibiotics, which consisted mostly of β‐lactams.This article is protected by copyright.
