Research Assistant for Orthopaedic and Spine Procedure Quality and Efficiency Initiative - Brigham and Women ’s Hospital

The Research Assistant, for Orthopaedic and Spine Procedure Quality and Efficiency Initiative will provide administrative and technical support for projects related to orthopaedic procedure efficiency and report to Andrew K. Simpson, MD and the BCRISP team.  The Research Assistant will be expected to work with Dr. Simpson and the OR Quality and Efficiency Committee to observe and record metrics around the performance of surgical procedures and instrument and implant utilization, become an expert user of healthcare software, perform data analysis, and aid in the implementation of strategic interventions to optimize procedural care delivery.
