Predictors of mortality of bloodstream infections among internal medicine patients in a Swiss Hospital: Role of quick Sequential Organ Failure Assessment.

CONCLUSION: qSOFA as compared to other severity scores showed an excellent negative predictive value. Better prognosis was associated with administration of appropriate empiric antibiotic therapy and its timely initiation. PMID: 31128976 [PubMed - as supplied by publisher]
