Effect of intracameral human cord blood-derived stem cells on lasered rabbit trabecular meshwork

ConclusionsThere was a relative preservation of cellularity and architecture of the trabecular meshwork in eyes injected with human cord blood stem cells, as compared to lasered control eyes up to 12  weeks, without significant inflammation. This suggests a probable role for such stem cells in eyes with glaucoma, having trabecular dysfunction.
