Santiago, Chile, will get drier and warmer

(Helmholtz Association of German Research Centres) Already nowadays 10 percent or more of the population in the Metropolitan Region of Santiago de Chile is affected by extreme heat or floods. Because of that, the international research project ClimateAdaptationSantiago has developed, during the last three years, an Adaptation Plan to climate change.
