American Psychological Association Division 39: Psychoanalysis Scholars Program for Graduate Students Div. 39 is pleased to announce its Scholars Program for graduate students. Deadline: January 9, 2015 Sponsor: Graduate Student Committee The Div. 39 Scholars Program for Graduate Students is designed to help foster intellectual curiosity and professional development relevant to psychoanalytic approaches to clinical work, theory and research. The aim of this program is to promote learning about psychoanalysis, and to facilitate open dialogue and exchange of ideas about the future of psychoanalytic thinking, research and practice in the field of psychology and the role of psychologists in the future of psychoanalysis. Application to the program is competitive and a limited number of positions are awarded each year. Successful applicants will be awarded 1. A stipend to support attendance at the Div. 39 Spring Meeting. 2. Ongoing mentorship. 3. Opportunities to participate in a vibrant psychoanalytic community. 4. Free subscriptions to a number of important psychoanalytic publications and online archives. All Graduate Student Scholars will be expected to attend the President’s Reception to be recognized as the recipients of the award. The final decisions will be made by February 22, 2015.
