[First Robotic Assisted Resection of a Retrorectal Tailgut Cyst - Video Case Report of a 27-Year-Old Female Patient].

CONCLUSIONS: Different surgical techniques have been described for tailgut cyst resection. That with the widest application is posterior/sacral access, followed by abdominal and transrectal techniques. There are no published reports of robotic resection. We chose the robotic approach, as this is the surgeon's preferred technique for minimally invasive surgery of the pelvis.
