The cytotoxicity behavior of nanoparticles was investigated by MTT assay and DAPI staining. To understand the molecular mechanism of formulation in induction program cell death, flow cytometric and Real-Time RT-PCR assays were applied. New formulation revealed a mean particle size of 98 ± 3 nm with homogenous dispersity, which was confirmed by SEM graphs. Naringenin and Oxaliplatin-induced cell death in HT-29 colon cancer by IC50 value of 150 ± 11.04 µM and 20 ± 2.25 µM, respectively. CONCLUSIONS: Enhanced recovery was associated with receiving on-time adjuvant chemotherapy. As prompt initiation of adjuvant chemotherapy improves survival in colorectal cancer, future investigation of long-term oncologic outcomes is necessary to evaluate the potential impact of enhanced recovery on survival.
