IHS: American Indians Into Nursing

The Indian Health Service (IHS) announces new and continuing funding for the American Indians into Nursing Program, which is intended to recruit American Indians and Alaska Natives (AI/AN) to become registered nurses, nurse practitioners, and certified nurse midwives. IHS plans to issue 5 awards to accredited nursing schools, Tribally controlled post-secondary institutions, and nurse practitioner and nurse midwife programs. Applications are due June 20, 2019.
