CONCLUSION: The young adults expressed that the Cognitive Orientation to daily Occupational Performance intervention, although sometimes challenging, was worth the effort because it provided them with an opportunity to master everyday-life problems by using meta-cognitive thinking, which enhanced their self-efficacy. Implications for rehabilitation The Cognitive Orientation to daily Occupational Performance Approachâ„¢ - was perceived to provide opportunities to master everyday-life problems by using meta-cognitive thinking. The Cognitive Orientation to daily Occupational Performance Approach boosted the persons feeling of self-efficacy. The Cognitive Orientation to daily Occupational Performance Approach is person-centred and supports the person's own way of learning.
