7. Neural Predictors of a Mood Episode in Youth With a Familial Risk for Bipolar Disorder

Recent findings suggest that youth with bipolar disorder exhibit structural and functional alteration in prefrontal brain regions. We investigated whether these abnormalities are present prior to illness onset in order to  identify biomarkers that may serve as predictors of illness.
