Histopathological changes to the vascular wall after treatment of great saphenous veins using n-butyl-2-cyanoacrylate.

Conclusions: N-butyl-2-cyanoacrylate that has been applied gradually degrades over the course of three years accompanied by a giant cell reaction, mild chronic inflammation and cicatrices, but there is minimal recanalization of the obturated section. Background: Inpatient stroke-codes (ISC) have traditionally seen low treatment rates with IV-thrombolytic (IVT). The purpose of this study was to identify the predictors of true stroke, prevalent IVT-treatment gap and study the factors associated with such missed treatment opportunities (MTO).Methods: A retrospective chart review identified ISC from March 2017 to March 2018. Clinical, radiographic and demographic data were collected. Primary analysis was performed between stroke vs. non-stroke diagnoses. Dichotomous variables were analyzed using Chi-Square test of proportions and continuous variables with Wilcoxon-Ranked-S...

CONCLUSIONS: The study evaluated the safety of withdrawing the P2Y 12 inhibitor from triple antithrombotic prescription 1 month after coronary stenting. However, enrollment was prematurely terminated because it was slow. Therefore, statistical power was not sufficient to assess the differences in the primary endpoint. Portal vein thrombosis (PVT) is a common and serious complication in patients with cirrhosis. However, little is known about PVT in patients with cirrhosis and acute decompensation (AD). We investigated the prevalence and clinical significance of PVT in nonmalignant patients with cirrhosis and AD.

This study aimed to clarify the relationship between tumor locations and the clinicopathological molecular marker features in eastern China CRC patients. We continuously collected data on 2,356 CRC patients who underwent surgical resection from January 2017 to April 2019. Right-sided colorectal cancer (RCC), was located from the cecum to the transverse colon and left-side colorectal cancer (LCRC) was located from the splenic flexure to the rectum. The clinicopathological indices (including age, sex, pTNM stage, mucinous production, and distant metastasis) and frequency of molecular markers such as KRAS, NRAS, BRAF, and mic...
