Sexualities and Gender Identities Committee of American Psychological Association Division 39: Psychoanalysis Graduate Student/Early Career Professional Travel Award The Sexualities and Gender Identities Committee of the Division of 39 of APA is pleased to announce the Division’s new Scholars Program. We are calling for applications for this program from students or early career professionals who demonstrate an interest in the area of LGBTQ issues and psychoanalytic psychology/psychoanalysis. Deadline: January 9, 2015 Sponsor: Sexualities and Gender Identities Committee There will be five award winners who will be expected attend the SGI Committee Meeting, its panel and reception Also, winners will be expected to share a written reflection of their experience of the conference with their respective academic/professional communities and with the chairs of the Sexualities and Gender Identities Committee. The program will run from the Div. 39 Spring Meeting in San Francisco, April 23-26, 2015 until the Atlanta Spring Meeting, April 2016. The Scholars will receive following benefits: A travel award of $500 for expenses to the San Francisco conference A mentor with whom the Scholar will meet at least once/month Subscriptions to all Division 39 publications Free access to Psychoanalytic Electronic Publishing (Pep-web) Recipients will be notified of their award by Feb. 22, 2015.
