[Erythrovirus B19 infections. Six years of follow-up in adults and children].

CONCLUSIONS: The characteristic clinical presentation in childhood was rash and fever, whereas in adults it was arthralgia. Anaemia is also frequent, but only severe in previous haematological disease. It should be pointed out that Erythrovirus B19 infection during pregnancy could severely affect the foetus.
