One new sesquiterpene and one new iridoid derivative from Valeriana amurensis

Their structures were established on the basis of extensive spectroscopic analysis and the absolute stereochemistry of compound 1 was assigned by X-ray diffraction analysis with Cu-Kα irradiation. All of compounds were evaluated for their inhibitory effects on NO production in LPS-induced RAW264.7 macrophages. Compound 12 displayed significant anti-inflammatory activity with IC50 value of 1.97 μM.Graphical abstract
