Identifying strengths in youths at Substance use treatment admission.
CONCLUSION: Highly sociable, hard-working, and smart were prominent strengths in the sample. Each day sober corresponded with more identified strengths, which may encourage those in early recovery. Identifying strengths can help clients find meaningful sober recreation and may be particularly useful tools for girls and those with low parental education. Developing standards for using identified strengths in treatment planning and consensus on the taxonomy of strengths are topics for future research.
