Outcomes following peritoneal dialysis catheter removal with reinsertion or permanent transfer to haemodialysis.
CONCLUSION: Patient survival was comparable between patients who re-attempted peritoneal dialysis and patients who transferred to haemodialysis. Patients who had previous catheter removal due to infections had favourable technique survival than those due to catheter malfunction.
