Incidence of myopotential induction in Subcutaneous Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator patients – Is the oversensing issue really solved?

The subcutaneous ICD (S-ICD) has established its role in the prevention of sudden cardiac death in a defined population. Inappropriate shocks and device malfunction in S-ICD therapy may be caused by myopotential (MP) oversensing.
