Perioperative Interventions to Minimize Blood Loss at the Time of Hysterectomy for Uterine Leiomyomas: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis
Hysterectomy for uterine leiomyoma is associated with significant morbidity including blood loss. A systematic review and meta-analysis was conducted to identify non-hormonal interventions, perioperative surgical interventions and devices to minimize blood loss at the time of hysterectomy for leiomyoma.
