Pregnancy following urinary tract reconstruction using bowel segments: a review of published literature

ConclusionAfter urinary diversion, pregnancy is possible without major complications. Due to an increased risk of pyelonephritis and dilatation of the upper urinary tract requiring intervention, these pregnancies should be considered high risk. Vaginal delivery as well as delivery by cesarean is feasible, but should be carried out in centers of expertise with urological stand-by.
