Waitlist Mortality of Amyloid Cardiomyopathy Patients Listed for Heart Transplantation and Implications for Organ Allocation

While outcomes of patients with amyloid cardiomyopathy (ACM) undergoing heart transplantation have been reported, there is scant data on the waitlist mortality of these patients. The aim of this study was to investigate whether patients with amyloid cardiomyopathy have higher waitlist mortality compared to those with other types of cardiomyopathies.
